Right, I am the messiest person ever.
I have crap in drawers that is older the God's dog.
I need a "light" housework guide please. Just things to do everyday day, once a week and monthly etc.
Help me please.
Have a 2 bed bungalow with a conservatory which passes for a laundry room.
Laminate floor in lounge and said laundry room. Carpets everywhere else (except bathroom, that's lino).
I'm a working mum with a non sleeping toddler so can spare up to an hour a day really.

Thanks in advance :)

I second bitchy! You're house sounds like mine and I use fly lady successfully whilst working from home and with a non sleeping 1 yo DD! Only my conservatory doubles up as playroom Smile

I third bitchy Grin

Come join the fun (or at least the conversation). And, like laure I work from home too and my DS is 15 months but does sleep - when I work!

Seriously, the motto is "you're never behind" and "just jump in where you are" and... a few other things I can't remember Wink

You've got nothing to lose (except clutter) and a home to reclaim!

Yep, Flylady is the way to go. It has improved the state of my house and stopped me panicking about how much there is to do. The Flylady website is here, but if you follow our thread, you don't need to sign up to it (and I would advise you never to sign up for Flylady emails). Don't be put off by the cutesy language - the basic system is sound.

Start with the babysteps so that you gradually build up new habits. We are on Day 8 of the babysteps so far on our thread, but you still have time to join in. The first and most important one is to shine your sink. Sounds mad when you have so much else to do, but it cheers you up and helps you feel as if you are finally getting back some control.

Hope to see you on the thread.

Oh I love a shiny sink, I use lime lite to do it... Will give this a go though... And will start putting dishes away before bed (I'm a fan of air drying dishes) Wink
Will start reading the rest... Thank you Grin
