Hello,

I didn't think this would be hard...

We've a King size bed, and a 12.5tog duvet but the last few nights it's not been anywhere near warm enough. Before DH and I lived together I had a duo set that I buttoned together I think one was 9.5 and the other 5.5 or thereabouts. So I was thinking I could just getting a summer tog duvet and put it in the same cover with our current one, but I can't see any anywhere... preferably Goose or Duck down...
Anyone seen any????

Thank you!

Yes here is one

Good knows why I couldn't see any earlier!!!

I'm wondering if 2.5 will be too cool for summer... decisions, decisions!!!

If you want a really toasty sleep do as the scandinavians and use 2 single duvets on the bed instead of 1 large one. We have and have never looked back.

Albert... the Germans do this too, it seems very sensible. I mentioned this to my DH as a great idea, but as my Ex was German DH wasn't too impressed :S

John Lewis? Or maybe get a cheaper one that is less warm. Or get the 12/15 tog that you need and save the thinner one for warm weather.

Ikea might have something- they are one of the few shops that stock summer weight duvets in winter and vice versa. You might want to sew some poppers onto keep them together.

I have a 10 tog down duvet and it's very warm (I have no heating so I'd notice if not Grin. You might be better off with a blanket/heavy throw on top? It stops the draughts.
