I was amazed that the manager and bar staff at work today didn't know the quickest way to clear up "Lake Vomit" in the toilets last night. They said they'd spent 45 minutes and used two entire rolls of blue wipedown paper and several goes with the mop and bucket.
I asked whether they'd put detergent powder on it first, then scraped it up. But no, they'd never heard of that idea! I said that wiping it will just spread it further, and mopping will make sure it spreads! Sawdust will work to absorb it too. The same principles apply to a large amount of spilled cooking oil so I thought I'd post for the festive season
Does anyone else have good remedies for this kind of spillage to pass on?
