Frost free or not frost free - that is the question

Hi, as well as my washer breaking down my fridge freezer has bitten the dust as well.
The main problem was it was freezing everything in the fridge , repair man said it was the circuit board and said it wouldn't be worth doing - it needs replacing.
I'm wary now of getting another fridge freezer with auto defrost/frost free
.Should i get a manual one and if so which do you recommend, would need a decent size as have 3dc.
Any advice greatly received

frost free is convenient, but less reliable. it is not unusual for the ducts in the back to become choked with ice, and then you have to leave it open for 24 hours or so to melt it all out.

Bosch are usually very good.

There was another thread on here yesterday about choosing FFs
