Salt? Something else?

That's it really.

Probably need to fill up with rinse aid.

jaggythistle · 08/11/2011 16:04

yeah, my rinse aid symbol is fairly snowflakey so i concur. :)

Sparklingbrook · 08/11/2011 16:06

Yes Rinse Aid. I think the salt one is an 'S'.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/11/2011 19:39

I'd guess rinse aid too.

PorkChopSter · 08/11/2011 20:23

Live dangerously. Top them both up.

TheOriginalFAB · 08/11/2011 20:27

Yes, it means you need to top up the rinse aid.

Sparklingbrook · 08/11/2011 20:28

What PorkChopSter said AND clean the filter thing while you're at it. Grin

Svrider · 08/11/2011 20:30

Porkchopster it's that kind of rash advice thats caused the current economic crisis (and almost probably caused the disintegration in the fabric of society)

wolfhound · 09/11/2011 14:48

This is going to sound really stupid, but where does the rinse aid go? I think I am a bit confused about dishwashers. I have found a screw-top in the floor of the dishwasher which I unscrew and then I pour salt in. Is this the right place for the salt or should that be rinse aid? Aaargh!

Ours is a thing in the inside of the door with a little round window in. You sort of unclip it and pour the rinse aid in til the window is full.

ShowOfHands · 09/11/2011 17:05

Your dishwasher has detected it's only 6 weeks till Christmas and is joining in the festivities.

Pascha · 09/11/2011 17:06

The rinse-aid in my dishwasher goes in the compartment in the door next to where the detergent goes.

Sparklingbrook · 09/11/2011 17:09

Pascha that explains it so much better than I did. Grin

Stropperella · 09/11/2011 17:12

Er, do you not have an instruction manual?

wolfhound · 10/11/2011 12:19

Stropper - no, dishwasher was in house already when we moved in, no manual.

Thank you all very much. I imagine things will look much sparklier now (the things coming out of the dishwasher, I mean.)

Stropperella · 10/11/2011 12:21

Ah, OK, fair enough then :)

Try googling the model - you may find an online manual
