The dye has come out of one of the sofa arms. I think it was the ointment I used for excema on my elbows. I have tried brown polish etc, but it doesn't have any effect. Have I got any alternative to getting an upholsterer in, or will I just risk making a mess of it, with a bad colour match (dark brown, btw). Any advice appreciated...
