Polished granite worktop - how do I remove limescale?

I have buildup around the dish drainer and taps - not too bad but noticeable on black surface. I know that limescale removers usually contain acid material which is not recommended for granite.

I've just used a granite cleaner and buffed with microfibre cloth but limescale/watermarks are still there and I wonder what to use to remove?

doesnt matter..... it works www.housecleaning-tips.com/how-to-clean-granite-countertops.html

it spend millions of year fusing together at extream temperature and conditions and wiping a bit of vinegar on it wont harm it

My parents use this on their granite (in London, so hard water) and it's always shiny and lovely.

It's not hard water in London - I hardly ever had to descale my kettle when I lived there Grin

I think you have to make sure no water is left on it to pool and wipe dry every time then uses a specialist cleaner.

bar-keepers friend - it's about £1.80 for a pot - it's a powder and you use it with a wet cloth (instructions are on it)

it works on a lot of things - brings ceramic sinks up a treat

dh is a kitchen designer and swears by it
