Someone was a tad drunk and threw up winesick all over herself and DH... Blush

Have washed my dress, underwear, and his suit three times, plus soaked it in oxy stuff and it still reeks. I have an inkling that I should try bicarb, but no idea how much or what to do with it...?
Or failing that, any other suggestions?

Dress and suit were both brand new so dont want to give up and bin them.

are you using bio washing up powder/liquid?

allsquareknickersnofurcoat · 20/05/2011 11:40

nope non bio, I have psoriasis so have to be careful

if I used bio, would it wash out with the next wash?

allsquare

suggest using bio, giving it an extra rinse or 2, and then a non bio wash again with another extra rinse... worth a try i reckon

What the heck had you been drinking or eating for it to still smell?!!

What temp are you washing the clothes on? If DD (10mo!) is sick on her clothes I have to wash them at atleast 40 degrees for the Vanish and non-bio powder to actually work.

hi

Im not sure if this tip will help. My DP goes sea fishing and his clothes used to reek of stinking fish when he came home which I could never get rid of. Then someone said try a cap of white wine vinegar, which I did and it gets rid of the smell first wash.

Dont know if it works the same give it a go you never know?
