Moths. When is it time to call in the professionals?

I am sure this subject has been covered plenty in the past, so apols, but need instant advice. For the last year or so I have the occasional moth in the bedroom and bathroom. I have been using smelly things in cupboards and wardrobes to try and keep them at bay but after a few days away last week I came back and killed about 10 in 2 minutes, so the prpblem is definitely getting worse. They are not eating us out of house and home, but I have come across a little hole in something now and again. Is it time to get in Rentokil? Crucially, does getting in the professionals require loads of preparation -- ie emptying cupboards and drawers, having all your stuff dry cleaned. Advise me plse

Have you got wool carpets? For us getting rid of carpets [replaced with man made fibres] made huge difference. Still paranoid about things and hit walls wildly if I see anything flutter!!
