modern non-girly single bed for 2yo?

I had my eye on the 4 poster one from Habitat which was a very simple wooden frame. They seem to have stopped stocking it Angry so I am on the hunt for a similar modern style.

Wanted something a bit more fun than the standard Johnlewis wooden single, and don't like white with lots of frills. Her room is all primary/bright colours, and we have the strib rug from Ikea in her room too.

Don't know whether to get a single that can become bunks later as we hope to move to a bigger house in the next year or so.

Ikea beds look ok. We got DD's from Warren Evans. They come in a range of bright colours which are really pretty.

There is a company called Aspace that do many different styles of kids bedroom furniture ranges. Never used them myself but like the look of the furniture when we are changing things round.

Have a lovely whitewashed Flexa single bed for our DD, 2.8. Has a sturdy bed rail around it and can be converted into bunk beds, or a mid or high sleeper when she gets older. Quite pricey, but we expect it to last until she leaves home!

The flexa bed looks like a good flexible option as I like the idea of being able to convert to bunks later. What is the finish like on it, gastrognome? Fairly wipeable? Will it be relatively easy to remove annoying stickers from etc? I suppose it's not worth me worrying about things like that is it....

To all: did yr DC try to jump on the bed after "lights out"? DD has not done this except sometimes in the mornings but she does love jumping on our bed. Really hoping that she won't see her big bed as a reason for a jumping frenzy.....

Probably too late to reply now, but just for the record, yes the flexa bed is easy to clean as the finish is smooth and washable. No idea about stickers on it though...
