Cleaning a scummy shower!

Any advice?! I'm obviously a complete slattern because even I've noticed that our shower is yuck. I've tried cleaning with all the usual bathroom products but the glass screen and tray are still looking skank. I'd really appreciate any words of wisdom!

For the glass screen, you probably need some limescale remover - Limelight or Viakal for instance. They'd probably work on the tray too. But do read the instructions and make sure it's well-ventilated as there can be fumes.

I've got a glass shower too, it's the bain of my life. I use viakill and cream cleaner, it doesn't scratch but gets all the scum off as DH will only use soap not shower gel.

Shiney Sinks - that is what my cleaner uses and all of my friends comment on the lack of scum and limescale in my bathrooms - well all is stretching it - 2 have in the last 2 weeks and one was a complete COD clean freak who then bpought some and text me because she was so impressed.

It's in a blue bottle and they sell it in Waitrose and some Tesco stores.

I have just discovered using Fairy washing up liquid and a scrubby sponge leaves a shower screen and tiles SPARKLING!!! I have ditched all useless shower cleaning products.

Have to go with this one too. Good quality washing up liquid on a sponge or cloth then rinsed off does just as good a job as any of the proprietary cleaners. I usually take the washing up liquid in with me a couple of times a week, then when finished showering, just wipe the glass down with a cloth and w.u.l. on the inside, rinse and if I am really fussy, which is unusual, I dry the glass off with a micro cloth. Really good effect then.
