E-mop for wooden floors, worth it?

Hi,

I have wooden floors downstairs. At the moment they get cleaned with a Vileda mop, but I don't like the idea of the boards getting wet. I was thinking of buying a E-mop or something similar, but am a bit wary because of the price. Is it worth it, or will a similar cheaper product be as good?

Also, is it really only good for wooden or tiled floor? I have lino in my kitchen and worry an emop can clean it properly, given it gets quite disgustingly dirty with my toddler and baby throwing stuff at it. What do you think?

They are brill, great if slightly damp not wet.

Fab, I love mine. Use it on wooden floors, kitchen tiles (these get filthy - 2 kids, one dog and 2 cats) and lino in the bathroom.

Yes - mine is the SMART mop from Lakeland and worth every penny. Get a replacement mop head though so one can be in the wash while you are using the other. I spray a bit of Mr Muscle wooden floor cleaner on it after I have run it under warm water. works a treat.

What about the cheaper emop versions? Wilko does one for a fraction of the price so I'm tempted. Or is it better to go with a branded mop? If so, why?

I haven't seen anything on the high street that looks anything like the one from Lakeland -sturdier, the mop heads wash well and it does the job. Not been tempted by anything other mops I have seen.
