Dh bought ds a Buzz Lightyear bubble bath. Apart from the fact that ds took it to bed to cuddle Hmm the bloody thing has left green paint marks all over my bath where ds has bashed him about!!!

How can I remove these marks?

Buzz is quite possibly on his way to the wheely bin at this rate! Angry

hee hee my son loves buzz so will avoid this like the plague..sorry to be of no help, but have had a giggle!

The only thing I have found shifts those scuff marks are magic eraser type products. Even with the Eraser they will take some scrubbing.

Bar Keepers Friend might be worth a try?

I think its a mission dh should take Grin

Right till I get a magic eraser it's hard core cleaning products for dh to start scrubbing with! Being preggy I couldn't possibly! Wink

I have this problem too. Buzz is now strictly forbidden from leaving the bathroom as he was dripping water over my new carpet - he now holds court on the edge of the bath and other toys have to go and talk to him there. The colours on the bath bit though I have not solved!

Buzz has been banished the cleaning cupboard. I have a feeling he will end up in the wheelie bin before bin day! Bloody stupid thing!

Definitely the magic eraser pads.

JellyBelly10 · 28/02/2011 11:51

I had this problem (not with BUzz, but just with plastic toys generally being bashed around in the bath) and the thing that gets rid of it brilliantly and doesn't damage the bath (I promise!)is to get a Brillo Pad and very gently (with almost no pressure really) lightly go over the mark until it's gone. It works briliantly and I do it regularly (as all the cheap plastic rubbish my kids want to take into the bath leaves the brightly coloured scrape-marks!)And I promise you it makes no scratches on the bath.

scrappydappydoo · 28/02/2011 11:54

nail polish remover?? only a suggeston son't know if actually works! We have a similar problem with Dora and cinderella turning the bathroom into a swimming poolHmm

nappydaysagain · 28/02/2011 19:14

Try a cream cleaner such as Ciff and use the rough side of a bathroom sponge.

soppypreggyloon · 02/03/2011 13:12

well after an intense scrub with cif and a cloth it's off.
bloody buzz is still relegated to the cleaning cupboard. why do products designed to go in the bath do this???? Hmm

I wonder if the makers of these b'st'rd things are owned by the same company as makes cif/magic erasers etc.

Or not.
