Need new kettle, toaster, food processor, all kitchen bits, nice clock and pictures.

oak units, black quartz worktops, cream walls at dinign room end, dark red between kitchen and wall units.

Budget more next than white Not on the High Street.

You called? All done Smile

Aworryingtrend · 25/02/2011 12:43

Thank you Helen!

And, er, I forgot to say 'please' in my original post. Getting a new kitchen and the tasty beefcake of a kitchen fitter has made me so excited I forgot my manners.

dualit toasters are fab and last forever a bit pricy but worth it if you add up all the cheap ones you could buy in a lifetime.

the kenwood chefs are great as well, i have the titanium one with a pasta maker and meat grinder. its easy to make bread, cakes whatever you fancy.
i got mine for £250ish from amazon. it will last hopefully a lifetime as well.

if you pop it in your basket in amazon it tells you when you log in if its changed in price, it was only half price for a day but i have since seen it for £280ish

oh and i have two of these which are fab filled with cakes/buns/bread i bought them because i forgot about things when they were in tins and they were always going to the chickens because they went bad before we finished them BUT now they are always on view and never wasted, in fact its hard to keep then full of tasty treats.

you can turn them upside down as a punch/trifle bowl as well.

used all the time and very accurate, looks good as well

mellie64 · 25/02/2011 13:01

and i use an old fish kettle as a herb planter on the windowsill, it looks great, its a bit like this one www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?q=fish+kettle&rls=com.microsoft:en-US&oe=utf8&redir_esc=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=7690588078378627553&sa=X&ei=9KdnTb2WDdGyhAeWuZzsDg&ved=0CEYQ8wIwAw# but was a few ££ from e-bay

Aworryingtrend · 25/02/2011 13:18

Mellie you are FAB! Thank you so much for all those links! Going to have a proper look now, but I'm definitely stealing your idea of using a fish kettle to plant herbs in- so much better than fiddly individual pots and will look ace too!

mellie - how much is the largest amount of water you can dispense in one go with the one cup? (we like tea pot tea but I find our kettle really heavy to lift sometimes)
