Need a decent mop!

Old mop is 10 year old Vileda Super mop that they have stopped making the pads for. I'd really like a microfibre type thing again. I can't stand string mops- the yucky water and fact you can't really wring them out gives me the collywobbles.

Any recommendations gratefully received!

Forgot to say- we have large rooms, a mixture of tile, lino and wood and get a fair amount of dust as we have wood stoves and a hairy dog. Sometimes muddy/wet pawprints to mop up as are in the countryside and the dog cannot remove his footwear like we do.

I've just ordered one of these which seem to get excellent reviews online. I also got a dry head attachment which apparently is ace for collecting up the dust/hairs etc first.
Can't vouch for them yet myself but am crossing my fingers!

ps that site I linked to has free delivery on e-cloth items and after a few hours shopping around, they seem to be cheapest.

I've got one of the E-Cloth mops and its fantastic. I love the fact that, besides wringing them out, you can chuck the heads in the washing machine :)

(We have slate / wood / lino-ish and it works well on all of them)

Thanks ladies- that's definitely the sort of thing I had in mind. Been chucking my supermop heads in the washing machine for years and agree it's fab to be able to do that!

I like my JML Super Mop for my wooden floors, it cleans them without making them too wet. It is also very good at mopping up spills etc. Smile
