Help me choose colours (paint) for my son's room?

Ds is 3, so able to request colours, but not able to think long term. His bedroom used to be cream, but with colour coming from accessories but I am beginning to find this boring...

He has asked for green or blue. Or blue and green mixed Grin. I'm happy to go with him, but want to choose the actual colour myself. I don't like anything too pale is hint of green etc. The room is bright, but not massive.

I don't really want children's colours as such - ie the room could be turned into a guest room without repainting, however I want it to be nice for a 3 year old! I am hopeless at visualising colours on a wall!!

Any ideas wouls be greatly appreciated Smile

Farrow & Ball Cooking Apple Green

It's a proper green, manly enough for a little chap and all his boy stuff, but also very nice for grown ups.

a very forgiving & natural green

I'm always recommending this to people because I love it.

Not very Little Boyish as not very strong. Quite grown up really, but good for putting anything else against. weekend by Little Greene

I also like this which is maybe better for a children's room James

we used a b&q one called something like ice blue?
it looks paler than it comes out.
similar to lemondifficult's first link, but possibly a bit lighter

I like those colour. Would the blues come out too cold?

my ds1 who is 12 has a pale green on his walls. It's called Wellbeing and is very relaxing. Might be by Dulux. Blue is too cold.

Thisisyesterday I'm not stalking - honest! I've been nosing at profile pics... We have the Besafe Izi car seat as well. You have three seats in the back - can I ask what sort of car you have that fits the three seats in (and allows the Besafe with the support leg). Thanks!

Ilovemyhems I love the Wellbeing colour - the website swatch looks washed out, but the pictures where it's painted on a wall look great.

we have a volvo v70

we have the britax 2 way elite next to it as it fits in the middle and doesn't need a support leg, and then the adventure behind the driver

We painted ds's room mid blue on the wall by his bed and mid green on all the other walls. t looks great and not too grown up or babyish. I'll have alook for the colours.

ds was four when we decorated his room in those colours and we just added some monster transfers which we have just removed after 2 1/2 years.
