Has anyone got one of these? What do you think of it?

Hi - I have a Tempur memory foam mattress and it is fabulous. My husband bought it 6 years ago as he had a sports injury and his physio said it was the best bed for posture whilst sleeping. I love it because there is no "roll" in the bed - you can't feel when the other person moves, gets out of the bed. In a normal bed when one person moves the person sharing moves aswell - in a memory foam bed you don't feel a thing. And my husband things it is the best thing ever. it was expensive but it is very good.

I have one that is kind of half and half. It's (from what I remember of the sales patter from bloke in J.Lewis) bottom bit like regular mattress with top half memory foam.
It's comfortable. Not the best mattress I've ever had. For £600+ I didn't expect it to mould around me as it has done. See when I move to a different spot as I've done lately it's 'higher' where I've never slept.
Just a cheeky note... there is little 'resistence' and one tends to sink into it...IYKWIM Wink

although it may be this one

We've got one with a top layer of memory foam - I was getting backaches with my old one, but no more.
Takes a bit of getting used to, they feel a bit warmer than other mattresses and they mould to your body once they warm up.
They don't need turning either. Good job as it weighs a ton.

we had one, it was fantastic at first but after about 18 months it started getting uncomfortable-the dips and dents kind of stayed there so it was lumpy (if that makes sense) now we have a half and half one from Ikea which is heaven

We have a full memory foam one. 'Twas pricey at about £1K but it's soooo comfy. It's several years old now and we have no problems with it going lumpy or becoming indented like some people report. I had niggly back and neck pain which vanished once we got this mattress.

Mine does need turning every few weeks (head to foot, not upside down) to ensure even wear and that's a two person job as it's bloody heavy.

Another yes they are great vote here

Do bear in mind tho, they can be a bit warmer than usual ones, so get a nice topper too, or you will be waking up all night thinking you are having hot flushes Grin
