How often do you dust?

just noticed dust on the telly cabinet. Dusting is probably the job I do least. When I do do it, it makes me sneeze and it is such a pointless chore.

More often than pre-children.

I thought I had a dust allergy so dp used to do it. Now I think maybe we just had too much dust.

I'm 38 and have just bought my first ever can of furniture polish & am trying not to become obsessed. Blush But it just makes things so shiny and smell so nice.....

....and it keeps dust away for longer - even though I don't like the chems

I googled...it's not a cult - am strangely disappointed.

HettyAmaretti · 19/01/2011 06:39

No, it's not a cult (but the threads are a wee bit AFAIK) her methods are excellent but it's revolting cutesy. If starbear was doing it properly she wouldn't have done most of the things on her list (hey starbear?).

I am nearly ashamed to admit that I actaully like dusting! I would prefer it to all other household chores. It gives me some strange sense of house proud satisfaction, so I generally dust once or twice a week.

However, I just use polish and a cloth, and hadn't thought about using anything else, but like the damp cloth idea.

Well - succombed to it....after reading so many posts since yesterday, I felt the need to dust, even though i did it on Friday.

Got out my ecloths (normal one and glass one) and tackled the lounge window and my lovely mirror that I can now actually see in!

Unfortunately, I now have dust in my left eye and it's annoying the hell out of me - no more dusting for me until at least next Wednesday!

Flisspaps · 19/01/2011 14:37

I don't.

HTH.

2blessed That's what they want you to think. Wait until you've got a timer and dress to your lace-up shoes. Mark my word it a cult!
