Cleaning windows - how do you do yours?

Window cleaners come round our local area and clean our windows on the outside but inside mine are filthy.
How do you go about cleaning yours?
I have neck and shoulder damage so I can't do vigorous polishing at that angle without being compromised physically for days.
I have 16 windows the height of me in my kitchen so it is a major job.
Any tips?

My windows on the inside were dire but I used a slightly damp Eco Cloth (bought cheaply at Homebase) and windows cleaned up a treat. But I did have to put a little elbow grease into it. Seeing as you can't perhaps use a micro-fibre cloth and some soapy water followed by newspaper or kitchen towel to dry (or I also use Ecover window and glass cleaner with kitchen towel and windows come up a treat with little effort). Do a room a day rather than whole house in one go.

Why not get your window cleaner to do it for you?
Isnt usually too pricey.

I use an enjo glass cleaning mit followed by a glass polishing cloth, with a spray glass cleaner, usually once a week when I'm doing my flylady style "home blessing".

For the top of high windows I use a small set of steps (or DH if he's around).

I have a window cleaner every 6 weeks for the outside.

I do use newspaper and vinegar normally, but when my shoulder is bad, I use my JML whizz mop, which...I am both horrified and hilarified that I own such a thing, but I do, and it does work. You have to wash it in the machine every time, though.

Pannacotta that would be the perfect solution but he would have to pick his way through all the chaos in the house - mind you he must see it all anyway when he cleans the windows outside so maybe I should just be bold and not care.
I am trying the vinegar and newspaper method just now as that is what I have in the house. It is a bit sore so I have only done 4 but they have come up brilliantly. I am assuming the smell fades over time [hopeful emoticon]
Thank you everyone for all the suggestions. I will put them all to the test.
