incoming water so cold that washing powder doesn*t dissolve

and sticks to the drawer. it is really difficult to get off, gets as hard as a rock.
how do you deal with this?
can*t use liquid detergent due to excema...

Could you put the powder inside the drum? There's probably a good reason why you can't.

Boots sell a laundry liquid for sensitive skin.

I don*t want to experiment with detergents, as it took ages to find one that works for us. will try putting it directly into the drum.

I had not realised liquid detergent was worse for eczema. Is that all types of liquid?

Can you dissolve the powder in a cup of hot water, then pour the liquid you have created into the drawer?

Forgot to mention, my washing machine uses very little water, so washing tablets never dissolve properly, unless I select the option for extra water.

liquids often contain some sort of preservative (or it would go off) other than that with eczema it is a case of trial an error until you find something that works for you.
