How do you store your electric toothbrushes?

Boring I know but its bugging me...

We have 3 in the bathroom and put them in a mug in the bathroom cabinet. Because we put them away wet, after a few days they sit in a pool of yucky water in the bottom of the cup. I suppose I should just wash it out everyday or dry them on a towel but I'm a slattern and forget. I dont remember having this problem before. So, how do you store yours?

On a small square of towelling on the shelf. Which is changed twice a week.

On a small white rectangular china "tray" thing which I found in a kitchen shop (think it was designed to put your salt and pepper on originally).

I got it from Lakeland but can't find them there now. It's a bit like ...this

...and while we are on the subject ... if you'll excuse the hi-jack ...

if more than one of you are using the brush heads, then how do you distinguish between them? (I've tried labelling but labels peel off in sterliser thing)

Thanks!

Stillchuckingit · 09/01/2011 19:22

sorry ...

for link, scroll down until you get to ceramic soap dish

Oh, good ideas thanks. Might try a flannel for now. Didn't think of that! Will look for a tray thingy too.

We all have our own brushes which are different brands so not hard to distinguish your own so can't help re labelling.

White (clear) vinegar is good to get any gunk off

Rexy · 10/01/2011 20:45

Do you need to soak it or just wipe the bottom with it iykwim ?

Stillchuckingit · 11/01/2011 14:50

um, not sure Rexy

Not sure what model you have but OK to soak I reckon if no electrical/battery bits involved
