and ask if anyone is a member of which?

If they are, could you please let me know the best performing washing machine and fridge freezers? Looking for a 7-8 kilo washer.

Thanks.

I'm not a member I'm afraid.

I just thought I'd tell you if you have no luck here, most libraries keep copies of which magazine and might have a library membership, so you can look at the website from there too. HTH

Washing machine: Miele W5740 (£800-odd, ouch!), Bosch WIS28440GB Logixx (£600-odd) or Bosch WAS28460GB (£400-odd).

Fridge freezer: Hotpoint
FF7190EX (£485), LG GR419BSGA (£450) or Hotpoint FF7190EP (£350).

Those are the best buys mind you, not the ones that scored best - there is a difference because they also look at brand reliability over time.

Miele, Miele and Miele usually.

Miele washing machines are brill - got something like a 25 yr parts guarantee.
We got a Hotpoint fridge freezer on the reccomendation of which, and found the drawers very flimsy, and they broke fairly quickly - unless we are just a clumsy family. Have now got cheap Beko one -not as much can go wrong with a fridg, so I'm told, so probably better to invest more in more complicated elecrical.

pretty much every other wash needs to be re-spun and sometimes I have to take half out and respin.
