saddle soap. It what proffesional cleaners use.

Thanks, any idea where I can get some?

Would I need to go to a specialist shop?

I use Lord Sheratons spray leather cleaner - it is great

I use spray tack cleaner - you can buy on ebay or any country/saddlery type shop as well as cobblers

Thanks everyone, thinking about it a couple of people at work have horses, I'm sure one of them will get me some saddle soap or spray tack cleaner.

Lord Sheraton wipes are good too. I also have the cream stuff, but the wipes save me a fortune in elbow grease Wink

For saddle soap Equestrian supplies? form Farmers markets? e.g. Mole Valley Farmers (google that) I've used it and had good results but it's not recommended by the furniture industry apparently. However it is so much cheaper than from the supermarket, depending on how much you need.

When I bought my leather suite the supplier told me that if you think of leather as skin you won't go far wrong and he recommended baby wipes for general cleaning. I've always stuck to this and it seems to be fine.

He also told me to rub on "Dubbin" on the back of the sofa nearest the radiator every few months to keep it moisturised.
