Help! Seem to have little black beetles all over the place. Every time we go out, when we come back there are 2 or 3 wandering about the hall. DD and I think when we go out they all come out and have a party and hide when we come in except for these stragglers Grin We're now just used to picking them up in toilet paper and putting in bin or down toilet but they appear everywhere, the odd one on a wall, under DD's bed, in corner in kitchen etc etc. What's going on? We live in a flat so they're not coming in from outside. I've run a steam cleaner round the skirting in the kitchen and I think that worked for a bit but they are everywhere - not in great numbers together but just constantly the odd one or 2 wandering about. What would get rid of these?

you need to phone rentakil or some other pest control company, it's the only way to get rid of them or they keep multiplying. They live in and feed off your carpets, so by the time you've noticed them there will be loads in your flat.

I think you can buy beetle killer from B&Q or the like but it's not very safe to spray around kids, the professional stuff is safe to be around after half an hour of spraying. I was extra cautious though cos i'm pregnant. It cost £80 to get my flat sprayed by a local pest control guy.
