Hi all, I am stuck in a bit of a muddle.

My house is surface tidy and cleanish (you would'nt look and say it's dirty) but my cupboards are ram fill of crap and I just can't seem to get myself into a decent routine when it comes to hoovering, floors, skirting boards etc.

There are 3 of us in a 2 bedroom upstair/downstair house so really should'nt be that much of an issue but over the past year I seem to have gotten more relaxed when it comes to cleaning and have now realised I need to sort it.

What are your daily routine's? How often do you do floors and skirting boards?

Please help me get organised.

Thanks.

I posted something very similar recently and was sent here.

The babysteps are a brilliant place to start.

This is an old thread so you might not be here OP, but anyway - I try to limit my housework to 30 mins per day max and in that 30 mins I focus on one room per day: living room and hallway, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom 1 and upstairs hallway, bedroom 2, study and then on the 7th day hoover whole house but limit it to 30 mins. The 30 minute rule really helps me as I'm then free to work/relax/play.

Oh, and every person in my house is expected to tidy up at end of each day - even my 2.4 year old DD who has to tidy her toys away (we make it into a game) before she goes up for her bedtime milk. No questions!
