FLEAS! I can't get rid of them

I've used this particularly toxic spray and hoovered like mad before and afters. I've boil washed the bedlinen several times.

I've used this spray yesterday and a flea dropped into my cereal bowl this morning.

I'm even using this in our bedrooms and they've got a poxy three fleas.

I'm going mad. My ankles are a bloody mess. Ds1 is getting ravaged too. Dh, dd and ds2 don't seem to be affected. I'm sure they get bitten but just don't react.

What else can I do? It's bonkers. Please help. I feel like we're just inhaling toxins galore to kill the feckers.

I found frontlining the cats and then using Indorex worked for us (thankfully). Maybe they're in a chair or sofa or something. Are you spraying the furniture, too?

I found the Indorex great because if you sprayed, I found all insects were affected for a few days afterwards too.

Do you have the the heating on? That sometimes brings them out.

If not, ring the council and see if they've got any suggestions - Or you might need their services I suppose?

The only thing that worked for us was Acclaim spray that you get from the vet - we spent about £100 all in trying to get rid of them - good luck they are a nightmare!

Don't waste money on these sprays - they are bloody expensive and don't work terribly well. It costs about £45 to have the local authority come out and treat the house. It's well worth it because the protection lasts for a few years. You have to vacate the house for a few hours afterwards. You need to treat the cat/dog first though (and find somewhere to store the cat for the treatment period).

We had this 3 years ago when DS was just born. Horrid. I second getting the local authority in - definitely. Otherwise you're just fighting a losing battle. And frontline your pets. Bon chance.
