Help: Toddler survival guide needed!

My ds is nearly 2 and showing all the signs of being a classic toddler- today he drew with crayon on the walls, then the door whilst I was in getting a cloth. I'm about to give birth any minute so the house is not going to get a break for a few months Grin

How do I get crayon off emulsion walls?
Ditto paint from wooden vehicles?
Sudocrem off the carpet ( he's not done this yet but I can see this happening as I change the baby!)

Ummmm please add you tips/advice as well!!

(disclaimer-I'm obviously doing discipline/not encouraging it, but to some degree is going to be inevitable with a bfing newborn and a hyper 2 year old!!)

Thank you!

If it is silk emulsion, a squirt of spray furniture polish will get the crayon off in a flash with little effort. May well work for matt too but (thankfully) DD hasn't drawn on any of our matt walls for me to find out. Works on gloss paint too.

No experience of playdoh removal but I'd imagine it would be easier to remove once it has dried with the suction bit of the vacuum cleaner.

Sudocreme - neat washing up liquid should hopefully shift it.

Thanks! Not heard about furniture polish for crayon, will give that a go!

On here someone recommended to me using baby wipes to get all sort of stuff of fabric/carpet - so far I've found it works with snot on the sofa and poo Hmm on the carpet so may well work for other things too!

Playdough should come off if it dries on try an ice cube on it to freeze then pick it out.

Crayon on glass or silk emulsion try hairspray and wipe gently should get it off same with the wooden toys. Matt emulsion probs will have to re-paint as its hell to get off haha. Sudocrem is the work of the devil but should come off with hot soapy water (may take a while).

Argh, I think it's matt. We are renting and have already realised we will have to repaint at the end of the tenancy!

Agree that babywipes are miraculous with foodstuffs and sofa but not found anything to remove dry-wipe marker (which DH gave DDConfusedfrom silk emulsion.

I find playdough can be picked off when dry but dyes the carpet- would love to know how to get it out tooSad
