How do you store your children's clothes?

Once they've outgrown them, what do you do with them?

Currently they go into the loft in a bin bag with the age range stuck onto it.

DS's get passed down to DD, and I'm pregnant again so don't want to get rid of any, but folding them and cramming them into a bin bag seems a bit hapless somehow.

If it's just the pregnancy hormones and I need to get a grip just say so.

TIA

I keep those I don't give to friends in those large IKEA plastic boxes.

have you tried those vacum packed bags from john lewis - they are fab!

In vacuum pack things in boxes in the loft :)

anonymosity · 28/09/2010 21:28

I give them ALL away except for one or two items I get sentimental about.

Thanks for the suggestions. Shall have a look at IKEA boxes and John Lewis vacuum pack bags.

I plan to keep onto them until I've stopped reproducing, I have no qualms about dressing my babies in the opposite sex clothes, poor wee souls.

Vacuum pack bags are the best. But I do give away lots of things, the stuff I really like I sometimes lend to my friends.

Im pregnant too, about another 7 wks to go, found out its a boy already so all girlie clothes i have kept no longe needed. i have them in my garage, sold many nice ones on Ebay, ( mind you, very time consuming though), then will put the rest in charity bags.
