Whats the best way to organise plastic food containers

Looking for some good advice here. We have millions of plastic food containers with matching lids and I sort them every couple of years when I get some time.

What's the best way to sort these? Just now, they're in a cupboard and whenever I open the door they all fall out. A lot of them are similair size.

Does anyone have a good 'system' for storing plastic containers?

The only way I can cope is to have each one with its lid on in the cupboard. All the little ones are all housed in a huge container (size of a washing up bowl) while bigger ones stand on each other.

Just cheap basket system on plastic shelving in the utility room.

Its a nightmare as I have a go now and again and within weeks its all piling on top of each other. no system. I do try to keep the lids on one side and properly fit the tiny ones into the small into the medium etc.

Chuck out what you dont need. I had hundreds of the baby food ones, really what do I need all of these for?

Love my plastic!
