how do i get the smell out of the house? i have had the windows open all day except when i went out this evening. we only have carpet on the stairs and washable throws on the leather suite so there isn't that much fabric for it to cling to.

Have you tried a scented candle?

booyhoo · 19/08/2010 20:21

Boil one quart of water with two cups of vinegar in a heavy duty sauce pan and bring to boil. Simmer for 15-30 minutes. Vinegar gets rid of burnt food smells (and the vinegar smell will evaporate pretty quickly, so don't worry about that).
