Help me please!!

I have a conservatory, an awful glass tv stand (would never ever buy one again) and mirrors etc. I have been using Windolene and various supermarkets own glass cleaner with jay cloths, paper towels, rags, t towels and no matter what the glass just always ends up streaky

It's bad enough seeing all the little hand prints on everything but it really annoys me that after all my hard work cleaning the glass it's not perfect Confused

microfibre cloth, no cleaner. And don;t wash them with fabric conditioner

scurryfunge · 18/08/2010 20:18

Don't clean them in the sunshine either.

Glass e-cloth (microfibre) with a spray of water. I will never use anything else after taking the plunge. The only exception would be if there was something stuck on e.g. toothpaste on the bathroom mirror, which I would clean off with a wet cloth. Then I would clean the streaks left by doing that with my e-cloth.

Before my mumsnet day's vinegar and newspaper never failed to get my windows shining and sparkling.

Now it's a slightly damp microfibre cloth.

What's the best floor mop and cleaner for floor tiles. Just had a conservatory tiled and want to keep them looking good and not all smeared.

100% behind microfibre cloths (appreciate already confirmed above!). The £ shop ones seem to be fine, actually - my experience is that the E-Cloth ones are a lot more expensive but not a lot better (interested to hear if anyone thinks otherwise?). The best, I have found, are the ones from the Flylady shop, but they are really expensive once you take shipping from US into account.
