Horse Hair Mattresses: I have lots and don't know what to do with them!

By weird quirks of fate, I have ended up with lots of horse hair mattresses. My aunt told me that horse hair is valuable and I should 'do something with them'. She was rather vague when I tried to pin her down about what exactly I could do.

Any suggestions? Should I just skip them or do they have some worth? Obviously if they can be recycled then great, but if not they are going in a skip (or two).

Having had a quick google because I'd never heard of them, they are apparently the best ever and should be recovered?
