Mops??

I have never managed to keep a mop successfully. They always go mouldy on me, probably because I don't rinse them/store them properly.
So - I was wondering if there is a mop anywhere that can be used without a bucket (I have a big sink), and can be stored in the corner of the kitchen without remaining damp and starting to smell?
Thanks.

My mum used to have a foam one that didn't need a bucket. I think they're all fancier now but this sort of thing looks like it works the same way - you pull a lever to squeeze it out so you don't need the wringer bucket.

i use a microfibre one from asda..
(think wilkos do a same one)
its fab

i just use soda crystals (in hot water in my washing up bucket) put the cloth pad thing in and wash the floor... the pad then detatches and goes straight into the washing machine (as is washed with whatever i was next) and it comes out the machine almost dry.

it then lives (with its spare) in the cloth cupboard so its always clean and dry ready for when i need it next
