My tescos ones just aren't fluffy enough! Any tips?

tumble dry them instead of line dry.

These are brilliant, but they do take a while to dry.

And yes, tumble dry towels for softness.

Little White company do some really nice ones. Make sure you use fabric conditioner when you wash and tumble dry makes them soft and cosy.

Fabric softener, nice washing powder and not leaving them in the tumbler too long = soft soft towels

Tumble dry, and use the Lakeland tumble dryer balls. (No fabric softener for babies)

You shouldn't use fabric conditioner on good towels, it reduces their absorbability.

wonders if that's really a word

Look for bamboo towels, they are super-super soft, no conditioner or tumble-drying needed.

I got a good Tots Bots bath towel on ebay

Don't have tumble dryer. Towels are a total pain to keep soft.

Don't hang outside if it is very hot/sunny they will be solid within hours.

If drying inside on airers then keep turning them every hour and when ALMOST completely dry fold them and leave them in sight for about half hour. Check they are dry then put away.

I don't have airing cupboard either and try to wash as many towels as possible in one go so that they are all drying on the same day and I don't spend all week on towels.

I HATE hard towels and this method works for me.

I always use fabric softener and I always boil wash my towels.
