Sparx maths (finding angles in a quadrilateral)

I just understand where i'm going wrong, so i can't explain it to my son.
I understand that all the angles have to add up to 360°.

The shape I had yesterday was a kite and it the question was asking for angle 'BCD'.

Angle A is 106°
Angle D is 48°

Angle C is parallel to Angle A, so is also 106°.

Which adds up to 260°.

Surely i need subtract 260° from 360°?

Which is 100°, isn't it?

Help me, please! 🙏

Angle BCD would be C, which would be 106°.

Angle ABC, which would be the missing angle B, would be 100°.

You don't have parallel angles, A and C are opposite angles, but I know what you mean.
