If so how do your DC like it and how do you use it/what projects do you use it for? I was thinking it would help the kids to remember things better in a fun way. Thinking of making one with DS 7 on planes and flight. Anybody got any ideas?

Thank you, I'll take a look see, but not now...lol. Need to get off my back side and DO things. On the plus side. My fingers are slim!

Don't knock slim fingers! have you got a hobby other than mumsnet perhaps that you get you started into meeting 'The One' or you could just grow your hair really long like Rupunzel and wait for a man to come climbing!

We do a lot of lapbooks in our house. We like them and some topics seem to lend themselves to it well.

Some of them I have bought from sites as mentioned. Some I have got free by googling. And some i have made myself.

One site not mentioned yet is this and it has two freebie ones that are very good intros.

Thanks loads IlanaK. You've brought me back on topic Thanks for the link. What topics have you covered?

I'm sorry but I thought the lapbooking was booking someone to come to your house and give you a private lap dance

I know I haven't contributed to this thread in a meaningful manner..........

2kidzandi · 19/04/2009 17:12

No you have not! Why is it that this thread conjures up such scandalous thoughts of the other form of lap, er, activities?! Where are your minds people?!

No hobbies sadly ~ no money! and my hair grows slowly!

2kidzandi · 21/04/2009 21:57

Tell me about the no money, my account always has three figures NIL! and I live in the wrong area for rich men

Ha! me too!!! will have to get a babysitter and trundle around the supermarkets late! I'm sure I would find someone...?

2kidzandi · 21/04/2009 23:29

The quality of the someone will depend on the supermarket methinks! Lidls, Netto's not recommended - whoever you find is likely to be as broke as you are Waitrose's a possibility; perhaps if you lurk in the fine deserts section...

Ooooh! fabulous idea! until they see my ample backside and decide that I have, actually been spending too much time in the desert aisle, not to mention far too much money on the said deserts even though I haven't!

2kidzandi · 23/04/2009 22:27

Hehe! That only leaves you with the coffee and tea section then...but you don't want to look too easy!

Hey! what about the Diet Coke aisle?!!! Ohhhhh Yes!!! that could work. No?
