I home educate but don’t use online school as such. Just a couple of online classes here and there.
Learn Laugh Play has a good reputation amongst home ed families. Also the £2 tuition hub.
are you home educating already or just thinking about it?

Thanks that's really helpful. Just thinking about it. It would be for the GCSE years if that makes any difference?

It’s increasingly do-able for the gcse years as so many providers have cottoned on to the huge uptick in home ed so are selling online courses. The older HE kids I know who are doing GCSEs are taking their exams in exam centres (be warned there is no funding available you have to fund it yourself) and working towards them using a combination of online courses and tutors and also parents helping.
Most do less subjects than schooled kids and tend to spread them over 2/3/4 years. It’s good because they can just focus on one or two at a time which makes it much more efficient and less stressful.

Thanks that's really helpful. I've looked at a few online schools and it is such a minefield trying to choose.

Have now looked at the online school, kings interhigh, learn laugh play, Wolsley. If anyone has any feedback on those I would be really grateful. Probably going to have to look at the most affordable option I think.

@Spongeb0b
as an aside I would recommend you join the FB group HEFA (home education for all) for all the important information around deregistering and writing reports and the group Home Education UK Exams and Alternatives for info around exams.

Have a look at UK Virtual School, its smaller and you you can just sign up for a short period to give it a go. Some you have to commit to a year and if it's not suitable it's a lot of money to lose!

Oh thank you, I hadn't came across this one yet! Very good point about being tied in to some.
