Hi, I am looking for some advise from all you parents/carers out there.
I am a mum of 2 boys and work part time. In my spare time I volunteer at a local cycling club as a coach. As part of this I have gained qualifications at Level 2 and hold a full DBS and have insurance. We coach children to learn to ride using balance bikes as well as coaching other young riders on skills and how to improve at introductory race level.
I would like to consider the possibility of earning some extra money from this by offering 1-1 sessions to children aged 3-16, teaching them how to ride and building their skill level and confidence. Although I would target mainly children I would consider teaching adults as well, helping them with confidence.
Is this something that you think could be a possibility or should I just stick with my local club and hope the young riders attend there?
