Eye tests at the opticians and ask your gp about the rest.

i dont think they have any boosters at school now just the starting school ones then the leavers jab that they have in year 10....my ds1 14 has just had it ...we received a letter about the tb but even thats only offered in certain circumstances ...generally my children havent had injections at school i just arrange them(well it was only 1 anyway) at the gp,mostly i think because i feel safer knowing its been done carefully and properly then they update child health records.
I dont think this is a big factor in H.E but its worth checking at the gps and eye tests are lways worth getting done.

my boy was 4 in december, he's been called for an eye test in our new health center (not our doctors). when i phoned about it i was told it's routine for preschoolers.

we go tomorrow, i guess i'll get the 'which school is he going to' question. But we're not scared....

I think a lot depends on your particular area & how they works things...but I would personally find out the current schedule of tests & immunisations for your area by ringing your GP's practice or local Child Health department & arrange for them to be done through your GP or practice nurse.

This link has info about hearing & vision tests:
www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/articles/article.aspx?articleId=663&sectionId=30
...& this has the immunisations schedule:
www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/articles/article.aspx?articleId=2479&sectionId=30
...although I'm assuming that will change this autumn as they are starting to offer the HPV jabs to all girls aged 12?13 and then a catch-up programme will be offered so all girls under 18 years of age will have the option of vaccination. The info I've seen said all girls 16?18 years of age will be offered the vaccine in the school year from autumn 2009 & girls 15?17 years of age will be offered the vaccine in the school year from autumn 2010.
