Seriously considering taking GS out of school and educating him 'at home' - anyone done this?

Any ideas or suggestions wouldn't go amiss either.

Thanks TheodoresMummy -he is lovely, but when I mentioned the amount of energy that he has - it just isn't 'normal' (hate that word). Having brought up three of my own, and been the much older sister to four siblings. he has far more than his fair share of 'energy' - hence me being a knackered old cow LOL

Joash do you have a trampoline? I have started DS using ours as a prelude to learning, to get DS's neurons firing properly and to give the energy some where to go.

Yes we have a trampoline - does that really work then?
BTW - It's a genuine question.

It seems according to what I read (can't for the life of me remember where) that by getting the neurons fired up it helps concentration. Now the trampolining helps because everytime they land, their feet, legs, hips etc. are in a different position, which forces sluggish neurons into life to help with balancing. It seems to work for my DS (who may be Dyspraxic) as he comes in and is able to concentrate better and its burned off the excess twitchy energy. I also go out and throw a ball at him to catch whilst he is bouncing to get the eyes etc. working as well. It does seem to have helped DS and its more fun than following an exercise video.
