Hi all!
My KS3 child is not doing well since being back at school. Ongoing issues of chronic anxiety and ot thriving in school environment (past 2 years-ish).

Can anyone recommend any online schools? I've have two in mind and have been reading reviews and threads online. Just wanted to personal experiences and more info.

Thanks!

Me too, I’m looking at options my 14 year… seen alot of reviews for the big player Kings Interhigh some raving about it others saying dreadful things! Would be keen if anyone has experience of online schools too . I’ve been looking at Minerva Virtual Academy… but limited reviews make me resistant.

We used Net School for KS3, IGCSEs and AS Level. Highly recommended!

My daughter is 15 and is doing amazing with Apricot Learning Online. They work with anxious/SEN kids.

We use kings interhigh. It's great

Kingsinterhigh is very good, we use it and have done for a few years. It’s easy (compared to a mainstream) to switch if you find an online school that does not suit.( check small print for notice period and payment plans - many offer rolling terms now, so you do not have to commit for a whole year. ( Kingsinterhigh long before it’s takeover used to have very long tie ins for gcse course and got a lot of flack from reviewers ).
while I mention KIH and reviews, they also informed (not sure if they still do now) the child’s local education authorities when a child enrolled and put many home edders off with their education bill stance.( many home edders understandably don’t like this and KIH has become quite unpopular in some circles for it)

Also you can use a full school offering as a back bone or buy a small package of subjects and get special interest courses from elsewhere - you are not committed to a single package.
Good luck with your choice, there are a few good ones out there. Long established with a broad client base good thing to look for. Covid brought in quite a few opportunist entries to the market and they all say marvellous things about themselves - including one infamous one that appears to pretend to write parent reviews. !
