Hi, can anyone please offer some much needed advice regarding home schooling? My daughters anxiety is through the roof at school and after a meeting today I have heavy heartedly agreed to home school her. I don’t know where to start or how to structure the day etc? I’m sure I’ve read somewhere about 3 hours a day is an idea? Do you do maths/English/science every day? Any help or anyones structure of their day would be massively appreciated…. Oh and she has ADHD, many thanks

De schooling is really important part of HE.
My son was HS since age 13 due to an anxiety disorder. He is self taught, all the resources are online free. We brought the revision books from Amazon for IGCSE' s, he sat his exams at a private local college and obtained excellent results. He is a completely different person to who he was at 13, he is very driven and self motivated as well as self disciplined, he also runs and works out most days, has a strict diet etc. His standard of self care is really high which has enormously benefitted his MH, he has just turned 17 and has been working part time also the past year.
Taking him out of school was the best thing for him, we had hit a brick wall. He is really happy and confident about his future now, he has a strong sense of direction, where as at 13 it looked so beak and hopeless.
Good luck to you both.
