Farted with my mic on

Don’t want to say too much in case I put myself as the teacher who farted with their mic on. But just that really, I forgot to turn my mic off and let rip. I’m mortified.

Could you not have asked whomever in the class did that to apologise and turned it on the students? Or does your picture get a green highlight when you make a noise?

Oh it was non stop! I was in such pain and bloated with it. I was like one big whoopee cushion.

This reminds me of a French lesson in secondary school year 9. Now baring in mind I'm now 40 it tells you how funny it was!

I went to a very posh school, mostly very middle class kids who were quiet and compliant and no one really played up in class. In fact no one really spoke unless invited to.

In this french lesson we had a new teacher. She was very lovely and we actually loved her but was quite different to what we were use to. One of the students farted. It was loud. Everyone went silent. Whoever it was brilliantly didn't let on. Everyone was worried about the group punishment coming for such an indiscretion.

Then our french teacher crust out laughing. Proper belly laughing and announced thank god - we are all human. She was concerned we were all too well behaved and abnormal for a bunch of 13/14 yos.

We certainly all relaxed in her classes and had a fab year with her.
