A levels from home, but needs special arrangements for exams?

After 5 hellish years of school refusal and huge anxiety, my 16 year old has just dropped out of sixth form college. She got very good GCSE's, all A*-B. She was allowed to sit in a separate room and use a laptop.
When she dropped out of College (after lots of help, support, CAMHS are helping etc) I looked into distance learning for A levels and think that's the best route at the moment. It's what she wants to do.
But would she be able to have special arrangements made re separate room and laptop, which she had for her GCSE's? She's been diagnosed with OCD, anxiety and is currently waiting an assessment for ASD. Do the online schools offer support for students with special needs?

Most online schools/distance learning providers don't have their own exam centres. So you will need to find one that can accommodate access arrangements. Private centres are more likely to than schools. You also need to check whether the A'levels have coursework or non-examined practical components that need signing off and ensure any course provider has an arrangement that your exam centre will accept.
Best to join the Facebook group HE Exams and Alternatives to get advice and recommendations. The growth in HE has led to a growth of course providers and not all are good, helps to know the right questions to ask.

Yes, where have you arranged for her to sit her exams? Because you will need to liaise direct with the centre with regard to access arrangements, and will need to be able to present the appropriate evidence of need for those access arrangements. Again, this will require liaising with the centre to find out what's required. Our students have to have been screened by the school and be able to provide a history of need (e.g. that they have always used all their extra time in exams).
