this one here is what my nephew sat and it was good, he had access to a personal tutor who he could email with questions etc and they provided all the textbooks etc he needed x

Thank you @sleepismypower. Do you know whether they had video lessons or just textbooks. It is not obvious on the website

from what i understand, the tutors set assignments for the pupils who 'hand it in' to them, and it is then marked. the pupils also have access to an online learning base, which i think contains some videos. it might be worth emailing them ([email protected]) just to check that i have got it right x

Absolute Maths gets good reviews on the HE Exams list. Maths is possibly the easiest one to go it alone on using the course textbook and free sites like Corbett Maths, Bitesize and Khan Academy.

Itsagrandoldteam · 08/09/2019 19:44

Hegartymaths, Seneca and Corbett Maths are what my DS used.

dontpanicmrmainwaring · 10/09/2019 17:11

you could also try an online school? myonlineschooling would allow you to just use it for 1 subject (unlike interhigh I think). Then its actual live stream lessons.

scoobydoo1971 · 12/09/2019 20:10

My son is with myonlineschooling, and I find them to be very good. Flexible contract too, with just 28 days notice if you are not happy. I know they do igcse courses so maybe worth a look?

dontpanicmrmainwaring · 14/09/2019 13:45

scooby doo, were with myonlineschooling! ds is in year 8. yes we like the no contract etc. unlike interhigh! hes doing well so far and I love how I actually know what he`s doing now unlike mainstream where he didnt say.

YourFavouriteTeacher.com has GCSE maths and English content. You have to pay to see all of it but there are some good online lessons and quizzes and stuff if you do the free registration.
