Giraffes are my favourites and my best.
We have cuisinaire rods, fab things for strewing.
We have been to Art club and dance classes today and I'm knackered. Babysorky still not sleeping all night
Got Science club, swimming and Rainbows tomorrow, how the heck I'm functioning at all is beyond me!
Baby has just wee'd on me for good measure. off to change...

sorkycake · 07/06/2007 19:55

dg how the heck do you know how much a giraffe costs ??!??
Am I weird in thinking that actually sounds quite reasonable
Congrat's on your pg btw, how far on are you and how many children will this make?

erm...hard, kinda. hmmm I'm not sure really
We really relaxed everything for the last 4 weeks and first 6 weeks whilst everyone got ready for him and then adjusted to him being here. mine are 5 & 3.
Now he is a bit more settled at 16 weeks, he just fits in really. I find I have to be pretty organised and set a task for the day which they can return to and although it was hard at first they soon got into the swing of it. At first the moment my back was turned they'd do a runner to play or dress up! It's def me that needs the deschooling tbh.

sorkycake · 08/06/2007 12:17

Can you all have a think about what sites/resources you like to use and add them to the thread I started a couple of days ago please, I think it would be a really good starting point for anyone and update our own individual resources as well.

Peachy · 08/06/2007 12:29

Nope, just on a group type thing! Have staretd (taught DS3 to group things into colour- no wonder they couldn't teach him colour, he couldnt identify which ones were the same ) which am very proud of!

He's still in Nursery but we are supplementing until he finishes, then HE from there on. Dh even converting the playroom LOL so we have some space. Haven't refused his school palce yet (dont want to make it uncomfortable for him in Nursery iyswim) but its all definite.

DS1 and DS2 still in school as they seem to benefir, ds3 will go if and when he is ready to accept the place offered at the very academic village school- well you know the one LOL!

Is the mailing list through EO?

fillyjonk · 09/06/2007 14:50
