French KS3 online course - where to start?

My y6 daughter wants to learn French, which her secondary for next year don't offer. There seem to be several online providers for KS3 French, leading to possibly taking IGCSE in the future. However, without seeing any of the resources, it's hard to judge if they're any good. Has anyone got a recommendation based on personal experience? I've come across Wolsey Hall + efrenchtuitiononline so far; Oxford learning don't appear to offer KS3.
Also, some give option of doing KS3 over 2 years and then straight into GCSE - has anyone found this advantageous?
DD is v. bright & a motivated learner; I'm just unsure about the whole online schooling process and it's very £££ so I'd like to make the right choice.
Thanks for any help / thoughts :-)

My 10yo daughter does myonlineschooling.co.uk and is doing french there and because theyre new, they seem to be open and willing to do singular GCSE subjects (ive signed my oldest son up to do a history GCSE with them) as well as a package of 5. Most of the others seem to do IGCSEs as a package only
Your main issue might be if their lessons clash with her school lessons, although some of them offer individual tutoring too.

I thought schools were supposed to offer a foreign language, thats a bit crap that they dont

Thanks Branleuse, I'll have a look at that one - haven't heard of it before.
Her school offers Spanish to all kids. They offer no French in Y7 or y8; There is supposedly the option of picking it up from scratch for GCSE in year9, but only if 10 kids pick it (it usually doesn't run because they never get even close to these numbers). DD had done some basic French at primary, and we go to France as a family pretty much every year, so she's keen to learn it. I am unsure how the online lessons will fit in with her full time school, but at KS3 some seem to be an 'as and when' thing rather than group tutorials at a certain time... Feeling hopeful!
