We have made the decision to pull our son out of his school and homeschool for one term before he moves to a new school in the UK, He has some learning difficulties which may be dyslexia - but are reading related. Our plan is to really go back to basics with him and ensure he's mastered those. I like the look of Conquer Maths but am looking for something similar to help us with the Literacy side of things. Since it's only for a term I don't need to purchase a whole load of materials or expensive programs. I am going to get some help with the literacy and math from a tutor (one hour per day) but the rest is up to me. Does anyone have any recommendations of good sites for the literacy in particular (or any other recommendations for math, science, history, geography). Thank you

I should add he's 10 in March so is KS3 and I think is Year 4 in UK.

He will be KS2 which will be the right level for primary school children - school years 3 to 6.
KS3 is the first 2-3 years of secondary school.

Year 5 in UK, definitely.

Try IXL I use it with year 8 DD. It is curriculum based Maths and English. It costs £7.99 a month for one subject or £12.99 a month for both. I find it very helpful.
