DD loves learning and has just started year 10 and is in top sets for most subjects. She is very motivated to do well but there is constant disruption in class. We are seriously considering pulling her before Oct half term as her work is being very affected.
There is a local program for Home Ed - where they can sit GCSE in Engligh, Maths, and Double Science.
On top of this, we were looking at distance learning courses through NEC or Oxford. Maybe five subjects. She plans to do A Levels at college if she can.
Just wondering how many GCSE's is too much. We were thinking of splitting the five distance learning GCSE's so she could do 2-3 this year and the rest in Year 11.
I am home-based and we do have the budget to cater for the exams and course costs.
Any advice would be appreciated.
