I'm thinking about HE to bridge the gap between the end of the summer and Christmas when we move to Canada (we're currently in North Africa). This is for DD2 who hasn't really enjoyed school this year and has found it very tiring. DD1 benefits from a school environment and DS could probably do with the structure of it, so I'm just looking at having one at home - which is another concern, I suppose - is that likely to be divisive? Any advice on that front?
My real (other) concern is resources. I'll have internet access, but apart from that, only what I bring out with me at the end of the summer. (We spend the summer in the UK; there's nothing to do here and it's unpleasantly hot.) So what should I be thinking of taking? Baggage allowance is fairly generous. She's a bright, hard-working, curious girl (happily telling me all about the greenhouse effect this evening which she's been learning about at school this week).
